What are you going to do?
You will be ultimately responsible for payroll administration, for both 500+ temporary workers and 10 permanent employees. This role focuses on payroll administration, and you will also support sales in areas such as salaries, collective labor agreements, cost price calculations, and more.
Payroll administration (approximately 16 - 24 hours)
The temporary workers' hours are entered by clients and two colleagues into a dedicated time tracking system, which is automatically exported to Freepack (payroll software). You monitor the hours and ensure they are processed correctly. Due to weekly payroll, you will work at least Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You will oversee the entire payroll administration process and coordinate with the team and other departments to improve work processes and agreements.
Other work (approximately 8 hours)
You'll assist colleagues and clients with questions about collective labor agreements and salary matters. During tenders for new clients, you'll work with sales to ensure accurate quotes, and for contractual agreements, you'll ensure cost prices, legally stipulated premiums, and the application of the remuneration system in accordance with the applicable collective labor agreement. When necessary, you'll also visit clients together with sales to proactively advise them. You're always looking for improvements, cost savings, and optimization of administrative processes.
We haven't yet started identifying subsidies that might be of interest to us and our clients. These include premium discounts for seniors, retirement subsidies, WAJONG (Disability Insurance Act) benefits, etc. You will be responsible for implementing, advising on, and executing the subsidy programs.
The above-mentioned duties are for 16-24 hours per week. Would you like to work more hours? We'll assess your needs and abilities, and we may offer opportunities to add HR or office management duties to your role.
