Rights as a flex worker

Your most important rights as a flex worker

You have all kinds of rights as a flex worker. It is important that you know them so that you can stand up for yourself. Of course, we know your rights like no other and we, for our part, will make sure you are treated fairly.

Normally, an employee is allowed three fixed-term employment contracts. The fourth temporary employment contract is indefinite. The same applies if the employment contracts exceed a term of three years. For you as a flex worker, there is an exception to this system. In the Temporary Employment Agreement, this exception is called the phase system. In phase A, you as a flex worker may be given an indefinite number of temporary employment contracts for the duration of 52 worked weeks. After this, you move on to phase B. In phase B, you may get a maximum of six agency work contracts for a maximum of three years. Finally, you end up in phase C: you get an indefinite temporary employment contract.
